Dave Hayden - President

I started out in the construction industry because I have always had an affinity to build things even as a young man. Coming up through the ranks, first as a Carpenter, then a Superintendent, Project Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President, and now President/Owner, taught me all levels of the industry and definitely give me a better understanding of what it takes to bring a quality project to the client every time. With that background, what I do in the construction industry comes natural to me and I consider myself lucky to be making a living doing something I love.

Allison Hayden - Controller

My personal journey leading to American Retail Contractors involved over 12 years of invaluble experience in this industry. I have been able to take the best of all I have learned and fine-tune it at ARC to help create long-standing traditions and long-term relationships with our clients, subcontractors, and our team members. Handling the day to day accounting activities, implementing processes and procedures and investing in that success provides a great amount of pride and allows for the highest possible standards of service within our industry.


Ellie Gerber - Business Development

The day I walked into American Retail Contractors I was not expecting to find a place where I was going to learn about a whole new industry and meet people that would mentor me and take care of me like family. The family atmosphere of ARC gives me the confidence to promote a great team that has the tools and years of experience of a big construction company but the small business, famiy atmosphere to really be available for our clients. At ARC we foster personal relationships and the details required to get the job done right. That is what makes my job so easy because I truly believe in my team and the quality of work they do and the importance in making our client happy with a final product we are all proud of.


Zach Hayden - Superintendent/ Project Manager

I took a round about way into the construction industry. I graduated from ASU as a Biological Sciences – Pre-med student in 2013. There were many reasons why I chose not to continue on that path, but chief among them was an opportunity to join a team I have worked with my entire life – my family. I initially started out as a superintendent, running smaller tenant improvements like Payless ShoeSource and Dollar Tree. However, it didn't take long before I was running ground up restaurants. It is very exciting progressing my way through this industry, and having the opportunity to tackle new challenges everyday. I am very focused on the future of ARC, and ultimately who we can add to our growing family.


Alana Castillo - Project Coordinator

After 10 years in retail management, I found my passion in construction in 2011. I started as an administrative assistant for a larger general contractor where my diversity introduced me to coordinating estimates and assisting in accounts payable. I began working with my American Retail Contractors family in 2015, where my estimating and coordinating abilities flourished even more! I truly enjoy coming to work daily and coordinating each project from start to finish. ARC has made it easy for me to be a full-time mom while providing me with a fantastic opportunity to grow and learn in the field of work I love.


Deanna Bruns - Project coordinator

I entered the construction industry looking for a second career. After working for a small subcontractor for 3 years, I have settled in with American Retail Contractors. Working for a general contractor guarantees I will learn something everyday!
